Dick Billows Dick Billows, PMP, GCA

Dick Billows PMP, has more than 20 years experience as a project and program manager both as a partner with an international consulting firm and as an executive with a Fortune 200 company. Over the last 12 years, Dick has consulted with and trained project & program managers for over 300 organizations. He is the author of 14 books and hundreds of articles on project and program management. Dick is president of 4PM.com and directs the firm's consulting, in-person seminars and web-based 1-to-1 training programs.

Dick began his career in project management with an international consulting firm where he successfully managed performance improvement, cost reduction and system development projects for clients across the United States and overseas for 12 years. Dick was then promoted to partner in Grant Thornton International (the fifth largest accounting and consulting firm in the world) and later assumed responsibility for the entire portfolio of client projects in the Western United States. Dick was then recruited by a Fortune 100 company to manage a 14 state region with responsibility for a portfolio of new product and regional operating performance projects which led to 30% annual growth rate. In 1986, Dick formed 4PM.com to provide project management training and consulting for PMs and clients around the world.

Dick applies his experience implementing achievement-focused project methodologies for clients, which includes training for project managers and consulting with project sponsors and executives. His Achievement-driven Project Management (4PM™) approach eliminates much of the needless paperwork and meetings seen so often in today project management. Instead, he brings a focus on achieving measurable business outcomes and on giving executives strategic control of their project portfolios.

Dick has written 11 books on project management as well as hundreds of articles on the subject of making project management more effective for project managers and their organizations. He directs the project mentors at 4PM.com and the delivery of one-on-one project management training over the Internet as well as in-person seminars for corporate clients. Dick also directs the project consulting practice at 4PM.com helping organizations manage strategic projects and implement 4PM’s Achievement-driven Project Management (4PM™) methodology in their organizations.

He holds an undergraduate degree in economics and statistics from Johns Hopkins University, an MBA from the University of Colorado and has done doctoral work in organizational behavior at CU.

Mike Angerame

Mike Angerame is Vice President of Energy and Environmental Solutions for Siemens Government Services, Inc.  Siemens Government Services integrates a broad range of innovative Siemens’ products, systems, and services into work performed for the U.S. Government.  He is working to expand Siemens’ energy product and service offerings in the federal marketplace.

During his 10 years with Siemens, Mr. Angerame has been instrumental in developing national and enterprise level business programs for energy efficiency solutions, and launched Siemens Alternative Energy business unit.

Mr. Angerame brings over 35 years of building technologies and construction experience with expertise in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and building controls and technologies solutions.  He holds a BS degree in Business Management from Leslie College and Graduate degree in Project Management from Keller School of Management.

Mike co-authored Managing Engineering and Construction Projects , 2000 with Dick Billows.

 

Sally Mitsch, CAPM

Sally Mitsch uses her 20 years of experience as VP of Operations for a major national insurance company, to assist our clients in designing corporate project management programs. As an executive, Sally sponsored numerous information system, organizational process, and workflow reengineering projects, managing multiple project managers and programs. She understands an executive's information and process needs for controlling major programs and a portfolio of projects.

Heike Peters, PMP

Heike J. Peters is a PM mentor and consultant with The Hampton Group, Inc. a.k.a. 4PM.com, and works as an independent IT/business consultant. She has more than ten years of project management experience in wholesale business and the chemical industry, and a total of 15 years of business experience in the process industry including positions in customer service, sales, and marketing. Heike's professional career includes managing projects such as the:

  Implementation of an inventory management and retail sales system at a wholesale business in Germany
  Restructuring of the ERP-systems in various different European countries for a large US Chemical company
  Replacement of a stand-alone legacy system in the Dutch subsidiary of a US company
  Design and implementation of a certified training program for a global chemical company headquartered in the US

Heike has completed her education in Wholesale and Import-Export Business, and received her Information Systems Certificate in Germany, she is a CompTIA IT Project+ Certified Professional, and has her Certificate in IT project management from Colorado State University.


Mary Borris, PMP

Mary Borris, PMP, has 18 years of experience as a project manager for IBM specializing in the Healthcare industry.  She directed team of consultants implementing software solutions for clients in the western half of the United States. Prior to her consulting career, Mary worked general management positions.  She has a BS in Computer Information Systems from Regis University and a Masters Degree  in Management. 

Scott Arias, PMP

Scott Arias has over 15 years of project management experience, with 10 years being in the design-build construction arena. In the design-build world, Scott has managed hundreds of projects at many different levels. From an Assistant Project Manager to the Director of Design-Build Construction, Scott has completed projects in the residential, commercial, industrial, retail and military construction sectors. These projects have been located around the world, from embassy projects in the deserts of Africa, to industrial research facilities in Boston. Scott holds a Masters in Project Management from Thomas Edison State College. Currently he is a doctorial candidate at Indiana State University, seeking a Ph.D. in Construction Management. Scott is a PMP and is a licensed residential builder in the state of Michigan.

 

Keira Cill, PMP

Keira Sill, PMP, has over 20 years of experience as a project manager. She spent 8 years with IBM managing manufacturing process improvement and strategy projects and 7 years with Dell Computers managing NPO, Custom Factory Integration and B2B Server Bundled Solutions projects. Kyra majored in Modern Languages at the University of Notre Dame. She received an MLS in Information Systems as well as an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Leslie Schiefelbein PMP

Leslie Schiefelbein , PMP, earned her project management certification from Colorado State University and has been a consulting associate with 4PM for three years. Prior to working at the Hampton Group, Leslie has worked on many projects with previous employers American Family Insurance and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. She is also active in our web-based PM consulting. In addition to holding her PMI® Certification, Leslie has a BA in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is pursuing graduate work in statistics.

Brooke Woody PMP

Brooke Woody, PMP, earned her project management certification from Colorado State University.  Prior to working at 4pm, she was a project manager for Bank of America’s Technology and Operations Department for six years.  In addition to her PMI® Certification, she has the Comptia IT Project Certification and Greenbelt Certification.  Brooke has a BS in Business from Wake Forest University.
