How It Works:
Build on your basic project management skills, working 1-to-1 with an expert project managers who guides you through 3 increasingly challenging project case studies with personal feedback on all your work. Your instructor, role plays with you, answers all your questions directly and privately by phone/email.

What You Will Learn

1. Project Initiation: Learn to assess the stakeholders and their hot button issues.
2. Scope Planning: Learn advanced techniques handling multiple stakeholders
3. Charter: Develop and present change control processes, and project authority structures. Face a hostile management group in your presentation role-play.
4. Assignments & Estimating: Learn advanced techniques for estimating including analogous and parametric estimates.
5. Risks: Assess risks that threaten the project, analyze probability and impact to determine expected value and develop appropriate risk responses.
6. Microsoft Project: Calculate resource capacity, work and cost in the software to develop a dynamic project schedule.
7 Schedule Optimization: Learn techniques to finish early
8. Modeling Tradeoffs: Develop tradeoffs between scope, duration, cost and risk for stakeholders to consider. Present in a live meeting and get approval.
9. Teams: Techniques for handling conflict between team members and develop a conflict resolution strategy.
10. Status Reports, Variances & Tracking: Variance and earned value analysis on over-runs, model impact of change requests for the sponsor. |
